You can also take on more than one mission on a given day, however your daughters can only participate in one mission on that day so choose which units you want to. This can be done indirectly, by increasing the frequency of spawns and how fast they do so. I think increasing the numbers of enemies, for one, would be a good improvement. But I think we should focus on regular missions since I only seen a boss and really have no idea here. Even the first boss fell easily on the second try, with a combination of Shadow Rounds and Interrupting abilities. The Hunter, which appears as menacing, is so slow that gets always killed before he can do anything. The ranged guys with the charged shot is also a non issue since the shot will go off after your units if you don't burst, plenty of ways to react. Most melee enemies is trivial to wait just outside their range and then pummel them, most of the times two turns in a row if you don't burst since enemies are kinda slow, with a few exceptions like scavengers or infected. While I think there is a balancing point in that to do so you have to use here and there the %hp cost skills, I still find regular enemies are pretty weak or easy to counter. While the premise of the game sounds challenging enough (no healing during fights, have to sacrifice units to heal, etc.) I found in practice most regular fights are pretty easy to the point can be done unscathed. So maybe all this post is moot for what there is after. As a disclaimer, I am only on the second week of my second recollection, still gotta see the second boss and everything behind.
